Teresa Tedder is a pianist, conductor and composer/arranger. She has written solo, choral, piano, and instrumental works ranging in style from contemporary and jazz, to classical and choral masterworks. Her work has been selected by soloists, conductors, churches and ensembles across the country. She has been named a Commissioned Composer for the Kentucky Music Teachers Association and she was a featured composer in 2019 at the National Pastoral Musicians Composer Symposium in Louisville, KY. Her latest commissioned composition, Out of Living Water, premiered at the opening ceremonies of the National Pastoral Musicians annual convention in July, 2020. She is an ASCAP artist.

Ms. Tedder, as part of a piano duo, has performed throughout the southern United States and in Brazil. Ms. Tedder, an assistant professor of music, formerly taught at St. Catharine College where she was Artist-in-Residence.

Teresa resides in Springfield, Kentucky, where she is the conductor and director for Mid-Kentucky Arts which features an 80-voice choir that performs several times a year in central Kentucky.

Her latest project is a series of piano recordings. She has just completed IT IS WELL Piano Reflections—Hymns of Peace and IN EVERY AGE, Piano Reflections—Hymns of Hope. Favorite hymns and sacred songs are featured on these CDs. Ms. Tedder’s first musical experience was ‘playing the piano in church’ at the age of seven. She is particularly pleased to have the opportunity to share her deep love of these favorite hymns and songs with her audiences. Her next recording STAR OF WONDER, Reflections of Christmas Carols will be ready in October, 2020.
